Yeah, the Fighting is Magic thing is unfortunately, but I honestly can't say that I'm surprised. It was blatantly using Hasbro trademarks and Hasbro is legally obligated to look into stuff like that. It sucks, but I think people are too quick to claim Hasbro is doing this stuff out of spite, because frankly, they have no reason to want to piss off the fanbase. If anything they were dragging their feet; I'm honestly kinda surprised that Fighting is Magic went for as long as it did before it got shut down.

Same here. The only fighting games I really play are the Super Smash Bros. games, but this one looked like it was going to be quite good.

I realize they have to protect their Trademark... but to let something go on for so long and then pull the plug...

You cant tell me they didn't know about it until just now.

I'm betting it has to do with the whole Hasbro reorganization thing that went down last year. the new guy in charge is getting aggressive.

Wouldn't the obvious solution be to actually endorse the team behind it? Or at least get the team to pay liscensing fees first, which I doubt would be too much of a problem.
