There's an actual possibility of a spinoff series?

Yeah, they've got a new Intellictual Property aimed at teenage girls and older. We don't know what it is yet though. They're announcing the details at comicon.

The only OFFICAL thing is that Hasbro will be launching a new Pony IP this fall, starting with a TV Movie, and it will be a "multimedia" thing, and is targeted at "Older teenage grils that want a better 'cooler' way to interact with ponies."

People are freaking out over the "Teenage girls" part and are sure they will be snubbing bronies and this willbe horrid etc... BUT

While they didn't mention Bronies directly, they did say how proud they were of their fans dedication and creativity. And mentioned an article about them in the Mew York Times, which only one they had was about bronies.

AND The place they said they will unveil the full details about it at, is San Diego Comic Con, a venue where they KNOW it will be almost all bronies in attendance.

The people freaking about not mentioning us, forget just who they were talking to. Toy buyers. The people that made Celestia have to be Pink. This is the group that is least likely to give a fuck about us, so they could very well have just been tailoring the speech to the audience.

It really does make one curious though. Perhaps a completely new cast of ponies in a new location? For some reason I'm getting a MLP Tales vibe from all this talk of marketing to teenage girls.

Did see the news about Season 4 and the new IP, though, so am excited about those

Bah, this isn't "fractured" this just people having different ideas and likes. Still far FAR more amiable then most. And it's just a case of getting bigger, you get more and more people that will act up. Doesn't change how AMAZING the majority are.

I'm almost positive I'm going to lose power with this snowstorm. It's already "blipped" a couple of times on me. If I lose power, there's no way I'll get it back in time to watch the new episode tomorrow.

Seriously the ones going on and on about how "bad" it is that we have issues like Derpnarok and Twilacorn etc... are worse then those actually upset over the stuff, and only make the issues seem bigger then they really are.

Well, there's those who only support anything that was done by Milne and can't stand any Pooh from Disney, those rare ones who actually like the Disney stuff and don't really care for the Milne stuff, those who like most of it but think that My Friends Tigger & Pooh and Darby were the worst thing to ever happen to the series, those who were annoyed with the addition of Lumpy, those who like Lumpy and are mad he hasn't been used lately and those who actually don't care and like all of it.

I really feel for anyone who's caught in that whole mess, especially if you have to miss Pony. Stay safe, and I really hope you don't lose power.

Well, this was more or less inevitable. Oh well, life happens, people (should) move on.

@Sydxelia, never mind, I can get me to write about that in a way that doesn't sound like I'm Complaining About Shows I Didn'tWatch. I'll wait for the moment this show/franchise don't please me anymore and then and only then leave the foruns.

(sigh) I wasn't all that into the idea (Fighting is Magic), but it did sound kinda cool. Ah well.
