@JM: A couple of pages back there was an announcement of a TV Movie and a new MLP IP that would apparently be aimed at older girls.

@JM; A TV movie was announced today (most likely the 66 minute episode we've known about for a while), which will apparently launch a "new IP" for My Little Pony marketed to teen girls and above. See here
Our best guess right now is a spin-off series. They did it with Transformers Prime, why not their other really popular show?

Yeah, knew about the TV movie, but this IP thing is new to me. And I'm sorry, I must be really out of the loop, but what is an "IP" in relation to this? To me, an "IP" is an address for a computer on a network.

Ah, okay, intellectual property. Well, could be interesting. We shall see. Personally, I'd prefer an "IP" in relationship to a series focused on young fillies like the Cutie Mark Crusaders, but I don't suppose that's happening any time soon.
