I've change my avatar once, and it created a massive shock to everyone when i did.

I don't even remember what your old avatar was. Perpetual Lurker definitely caused a shock though.

^Oh beating it is easy. It can't even fly. The hard part is getting a scroll of Wish to kill it off for real.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

Are we counting gallery size or who's had the most avatars ever? I like to delete ones I don't plan to use anymore to keep my gallery size down to one page or less.

I used to have about eight or nine pages of Aradia avatars. I cut back to just one page's worth when it looked like we were actually going to start charging for more than 40 avatars, and I've since decided I prefer having a single page.

In my case, it was when we implemented paging in the avatar galleries. I didn't want to have to open multiple pages to admire my entire collection, so I said "screw it, I'm trimming down". The payment issue was more of an afterthought for me.

I have six Vinyl Scratch avatars that are all variations of the same image (thanks to Meta Four for three of them.) Before that, I had avatars of S1 Luna, wet mane Rarity and Tealove (a toy-only character.)
