Of course it's legal. What do you think they put their flowers in?
You can't expect me to be fine.
I don't expect you to care.
Oh please, it's always been legal.
In liberal wishy-washy Canterlot, maybe.
For some reason, I picture Twilight's parents as ex-activists who were initially disappointed with their son joining the military.
If there's anything more important than my ego around, I want it caught and shot right now.
Next time you're in the Everfree Forest, ask Zecora for some of her special "tea leaves."

And Twilight becoming a tool of the Government, and then joining a rural town's militia.

I intend to destroy the molecular bonds that bind your very matter together, and reduce the resulting particulate chaos to tears.
Yeah, Twilight's parents were hippies in whatever the Equestrian equivalent of the Sixties was.
If there's anything more important than my ego around, I want it caught and shot right now.
The Great Cultural Screw Up.
The Equestrian Police Force was actually suspended in favour of local militias, because the amount of executions of activists was reaching civil war levels.
The Sparkles were lucky.

Hello again, what'd I miss?
Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead
.
We're discussing my theory on how Twilight's parents are ex-activists/hippies.
If there's anything more important than my ego around, I want it caught and shot right now.
And the usual Steve stuff.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I think "Flash Planetkicker McFuckyou" is the best name ever.
You know what's the cooler name?
Max Fightmaster. The kicker?
It is a real name.
Oh, and by the time he was discharged from US Army, he was a staff Sergeant.
So, he used to be Staff Sergeant Max Fightmaster.
No more needs to be said.
It is in the nature of the spiteful to spread animosity.
Max Fightmaster is one hell of a name. No-one fucks with his kids at school.

The only problem being then you have to live up to it. It's like an inverse "boy named Sue" situation that ends the same way.
Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead

Obviously, the Equestrian equivalent to the 60s was G1. How the hell else do you explain
this?
"Welcome. You have entered the cranial vistas of psychogenesis. This is the place of no-time and no-space. Do not be afraid."
Okay, that Smooze stuff is creepier than anything I saw in this show. Then again, it doesn't say much, considering that there really isn't much creepy things in this show to begin with, at least in my opinion.
And of course, does that stop people from adding tons of entries to the
Nightmare Fuel page that honestly give the trope a bad, weak meaning, nope. -eyerolls-
Oh well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so what can I say. -shrugs-

Was she a daughter of a landowner?

G1 is much, much, much scarier than FIM. If it's not youth stealing monsters, it's a coven of witches turning Dream Valley into a polluted wasteland, the world drying up complete with dying seaponies, ancient demon gods breaking out of their
cans, and then there's
Tirac. Not that it's a contest or anything, but I swear a lot of FIM pages are just overbloated redundancy. Do we really need three separate fridge pages? It's like Harry Potter, when a work gets popular it's overloaded with tropes that don't have anything to do with the setting.
"Welcome. You have entered the cranial vistas of psychogenesis. This is the place of no-time and no-space. Do not be afraid."
Everyone.
To the Spoiler thread. NOW.

Can you at least tell us what kind of spoiler just happened?
Anyway, G1 has been described as the Disney Princesses Meet Sunnyvale.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
It involves Twilight.
Now, GO, GO, GO!
Whoohoo!
