Well, cracked.com is a very popular site - so I can understand why some fans may be concerned. The article in question apparently has over 200k views (in 2-3 days).
Anyway, I think it's expected that every (large) fandom has questionable fanwork, but that article includes Equestria: Fallout.

Fortunately it looks like the second episode of Fi W is still up. Hopefully the ones that got taken down will come back soon. It was probably a mistake, since they haven't gone after fanworks like that before and it got taken down due to Content Id.

: I'm not keen on Opinion Myopia either. I just felt it would be kinder than going "Trixie is worst pony" (and still a pretty good character, which says a LOT about the quality of this show.)
