Exactly.

"Wacky" seems to be her single defining character trait.

Admittedly, she is by far the "wacky" character with the best writing in any children's show, but still.

Is it wrong that I want to see Pinkie Pie thoroughly not happy in this episode?
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

The most Pinkie centric episode we've gotten so far was Griffon, and my dislike of Gilda kept me from completely enjoying that one. Looking forward to this.

And yes, pony mental breakdowns make for the best episodes.

Insane Twilight is best Twilight.

As is Insane Rarity, though that's a little rarer.

You know for some reason I don't understand why her wings are out. I keep thinking that is a pegasus's wings are out and they're not flying it means they are being very sure of themselves/in a good mood or something.

Pegasai wings seem to pop out when excited, surprised, aroused...

So I assume scared shitless will do that too. fearboner?

[up][up] Remember 'Dragonshy', though. They seems to seize up under extreme stress. I don't think we should be looking much into it, though, as it was probably just an oversight by the animators.

That could just be Fluttershy, though. She's always been more comfortable on the ground. It might be more typical of pegasai to take flight when scared.

[up][up]You euthanized your faithful companion pony more quickly than any test subject on record. Congratulations.

Amusing.

I'm amused that he referred to Pinkie as "madam".

I think that would work better if he killed Pinkie Pie and stuffed her corpse under the floor boards and he kept hearing "FOREVER" and "PARTY" afterwards.

That'd be less classy and more derivative.

[up]I don't get it.

EDIT: Also; isn't it a bit weird how popular Luna is considering that she (apart from her scenes as Nightmare Moon) got less than 2 minutes of screen time?

I find that weird too. I find how much Trixie caught on weird as well, for some reason.

Didn't Vinyl Scratch get a massive following after three seconds on screen?
