She never ADMITS to being wrong though, she just kinda resets and forgets the whole incident once she finds out that everything's fine.

Ginger: She does in Lesson Zero when the whole group is admitting they shouldn't have ignored Twi's worries. She doesn't verbally say it, but that nuzzle is as good as an "I'm sorry" to me. I do agree that she kind of got off scott free in the other episodes, though.

EDIT: Oh and she does admit she was wrong for doubting her friends in Party of One, although I feel that she was partially missing the point, because she was clearly being overbearing and didn't learn a thing about that. So I guess she gets a half point for Party of One for me.

Yeah, that nuzzle was pretty affectionate. Which might explain the recent surge in Twi Pie ships I've seen.

My sis actually mentioned the nuzzle when we rewatched that episode.

I gotta admit... that was really cute

It's just the way Pinkie is, she doesn't really feel the need to SAY "I'm sorry" when she goofs up, but neither does she ever expect anyone to say it to her. She's very much the "forgive and forget" type, mostly because she's the type of pony that lives in the 'now' what's past is past, and what matters to her most is what's happening right here, right now.

Main point I'm (probably very badly) trying to get across is, due to the way Pinkie looks at life, what your doing now is more important that what you did, so if you did something wrong, as long as you learned your lesson and don't do it again, she sees no reason to even bring it up.

I prefer that thing over hugs. It like pony hug. Twilight and Celestria had something similar after deafeathing Nightmare Moon.

I guess it's just another one of those things I don't like about her.

I actually like my favourite characters to admit that they're wrong, or at least have it be made EXTRA clear (which is never the case for me regarding Pinkie, with the exception of Lesson Zero)

All I saw in Party of One was her reseting back to how she always is, having learned nothing

Gilda was in the wrong, and she payed for it by being rejected. It's called Karma.

I hold villains to different standards than I do protagonists anyway

But why? (and Gilda is not villain anyway) I don't understand this approach.

And Pinkie also payed for that with her break down in Party of One.

It would have been nice to have Pinkie be one of the ones to directly apologize, since all the ponies were basically saying the same thing anyway. Unless Pinkie thought everything was being said so she went to comfort Twilight instead. As it is, she only seems to be wrong if everyone is.

I've always thought that if Pinkie and Dash pulled a prank on someone that went badly wrong, and they had to earn their forgiveness, that could be a decent episode.

Because villains/antagonists aren't SUPPOSED to be sympathetic? It lets you put up with all the crap they do because you're thinking: "okay, I know this character's an asshole, that's a given... now is there anything else to them?"

With protagonists I don't feel like they have that kind of immunity to dickish behaviour (hence why I hate Villain Protagonists as well). If they mess up then they need to APOLOGIZE dammit!

For the record, I'd rather hang out with Gilda all day than Pinkie. If I could get on Gilda's good side then I'm sure she'd be a blast

Some of them supose to be.

But I don't undertand how some peaople act like bad guy or just jerk is nicer character that hero because hero do one dick move and villain have something decent.

I'm not sure how I feel about having two Rainbow Dash episodes in a row (maybe one of them will be less about Dash than the synopis implies. *cough*overabarrel*cough*), but it could be fun.

Who is that Mysterious Masked Mare? Fluttershy trying to prove she's braver than she is? Spitfire testing Dash's abilities in secret? Derpy?

So, from the synopsis's alone we have a Sweetie & Rarity episode, an Applebloom episode, a Rainbow Dash tries to get a pet episode, and Rainbow Dash feels challenged by a super hero episode.

I agree, we need moar Applejack. Because she is best pony.

Funny I would pay any amount of many to have a day with pinkie :)

It's not that. I KNOW that Gilda's an asshole... but it's her job to be an asshole. It's a given of the story.

I don't think she's nicer. I'm just saying that I prefer her character to Pinkie. Is that so wrong?
