Discord is less in it for playing the game, and more for seeing how the GM and the other players react.

Discord is Mr. Welch.

Suddenly everything makes sense.

@Story: I actually have read The Order of the Stick. What I should have said was that my only knowledge of roleplaying games is from reading stuff that involves them. I've never played one or actually read up on the exact mechanics.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before someone would make a screenshot like this.

I liked the Discord episode. smile I'll admit that some parts of it seemed a little Out of Character, but the thing is we don't really know that much about Discord.

  1. Did he come into existence at some point? Did he always exist?
  2. Is there only one of him, or are there more than one?
  3. He got imprisoned as a statue, but he could still hear everything around him. I wonder what he's heard in all that time?
  4. There was this blue miasma as he broke out the first time. Is that a sign of a Bigger Bad helping him break out?
  5. I got this All of the Other Reindeer vibe from him. I mean, he's like this bratty little kid who has Reality Warper powers at his disposal. Rather difficult to discipline or get close to.

Out of curiosity, if Discord went up against a unicorn wearing the Alicorn Amulet, who would win?
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!

More Littlest Pet Shop characters than Transformers? Madness.

I would so play a Hasbro Mascot Fighter, though. Fun fact, Optimus Prime & Megatron were in crossover fighting game that included Solid Snake (years before he appeared in Smash Bros), Bomberman, and Simon Belmont. Why this game was only released in Japan, the world may never know.

But yeah I'd play a Hasbro Mascot Fighter if only to answer the question "Who would win in a fight, Megatron or Princess Luna?"

Well RD can beat Starscream in a fight so I'm voting for Luna.

A fighting game would do nothing to settle power debates, considering that such games equalize power levels. I.e. The Hulk vs Chris Redfield or Mewtwo vs Marth.

Fine, maybe I just want to see Megatron fight a princess pony. Is that too much to ask?

For now you'll just have to settle for watching Princess Peach kill Ganondorf with her exploding butt.

v The trickster!Roxy avatar just makes that line even better.

Celestia would totally have an exploding butt attack.

Celestia's butt is too firm to explode.

Question, since nobody commented on it the first time; how many here would follow it if I made a text-only Tumblr blog, like Ask Littlepip style?

[up][up] Celestia prepares Exploding Runes every day?

[up] Dunno, depends on what it's about.

[down] Go ahead.

play the Neverwinter Nights series of games. You'll learn all you need to know about 3rd edition D&D.

that and Baldur's Gate is where i picked up my D&D knowledge.

It's not quite the same. I think hanging out in the Gitp forums will teach you a lot more.

Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
