That does makes sense. Maybe Discord will end up making a Heroic Sacrifice. Maybe against the villainness who impersonated Candance or against the Crystal Kingdom villain. Or maybe against both of them.

I think... I prefer Discord just being Put on a Bus or nerfed to that alternative.

I don't like putting him on a bus, that just seems dumb for the effort of dedicating an episode to bringing him back.

No, what I think would sound natural, and what would be best for conflicts in the show, is give him his little corner of Equestria (or have it legally ouside Equestria) and call it the Land of Chaos, where he's a little bit more free to at least have more physical chaos, but still restricted, and then only when the ponies feel they NEED his help, they'll brave the lands to contact him, especially when they find Fluttershy's in trouble. Also, maybe his magic will become unpredictable now that he's goodder, as in he seriously wants something to happen, but something else does, and the most of the mane 6 distrust that he's legit and such like that.

My favorite thing was finding out that the house was actually spinning. Until they showed it, I thought that Discord was just creating the effect inside.

I really enjoyed this episode, even if the ending was rushed.

But some people are forgetting that ther is no evidence that the elements can even be used to reinforce the seal. For all we and Celestia know, even if she found a knew set of bearers, they couldn't actually do anything until Discord breaks free. Remember that Celestia thought that the seal was permanent. She was surprised to discover that it wasn't. She's suddenly realised that rellying of the elements is dangerous.

As for what's going to give them problems with Discord on their side, he's not there all the time and he's powerful, not omnipotant.

You've got a point. Celestia may just be being proactive. Best to get Discord on their side (somewhat) before he breaks free again. Perhaps the other villains in the show have plans to release Discord so she may as well make him an ally first.

And... I don't know why, but I'm still convinced (by the show) that it makes (still shockingly) good sense for Fluttershy to be Discord's Morality Pet. I'm still not sure why I'm not critical of that aspect.

This reminds me of my (very) positive reaction to chapter Liar Game Chapter 166. I'm starting to think I may be developing a soft spot for "trust" purely (or nearly purely) by itself having such a game-changing impact.

@Probably: I got the same feeling; remember in 'Return of Harmony' how Discord was almost actually puzzled by Fluttershy? She barely has a resentful or conflicting bone in her body, and that stuff is what he runs on.

Suddenly Discord's Kick the Dog to Twilight in the two parter has more of a depth. When she declines to enjoy the chaos and leaves he seems a tad depressed... and then cheers and continues on his merry way. He genuinely wanted her to stop sulking and have fun with him, just never having a friend before, he couldn't make the connection, so shrugged it off. Fluttershy offers him her friendship and then does the same and he realises what he was missing.

Of course it may not have been that and just been a traditional Jerk With A Heart Of Jerk moment.
