It might have been better as a two-parter, since a lot of people (myself included) are saying the ending felt rushed. Still a good episode, IMO.

Not bad, although if you expected nonsensical, dull-paced, Out of Character klutziness like the last episode, don't watch it.
I guess this means "Spike At Your Service" was just an off episode, and great things can be expected from Polsky for a while now.

I honestly can't think of an episode where the ending didn't feel rushed to me so that's nothing new. Well, A Canterlot Wedding had a great ending, but it came at the expense of cutting the climax short.
@D Roy: That good huh? I'm still not expecting greatness. I like Discord quite a bit but I didn't enjoy his last episode that much due to writing reasons, even if the character himself was perfect.

I agree the ending felt a little rushed but what bothered me the most was how Discord just stood there in the final scene. He should have been floating about using his powers, just not in a way that's a nuisance. The way they did it gives the impression that this friendship has neutered Discord's love of chaos.

My thoughts:
Discord still loves chaos as much as he ever has...it's just that now...he's grown a conscience, and Fluttershy has now become his morality pet. His love of Chaos isn't diminished, it's just that he now values Fluttershys friendship more than it. Thus, he will attempt to conduct himself better in future.
