Random thought.

I personally did not find Babs Seed's bullying all that bad. I was mostly indifferent.

On the other hand, Pinkie tormenting the donkey, as unintentional as it had been, incited pure anger from me.

I actually had a similar reaction. Babs' behavior would have annoyed me at worst, whereas Pinkie's behavior would probably have resulted in me calling the cops if I were in Cranky's position.

But I'm not going to go into that. Needless to say, "A Friend In Deed" is my token "this drives me up a freaking wall episode" because of Pinkie's behavior.

The reason that AFID doesn't bother me in that respect is that Pinkie very quickly realizes that she's causing harm and seeks to set things right. Unfortunately, she doesn't see that the harm is stemming from a trend in her behavior rather than isolated incidents. It makes for some of the most heartfelt stuff in the whole show, IMO.
