Good luck getting parts or the skills to make one :P Do you even know how to do precision rifling? Hammering/casting the parts? Do you know the exact recipes for at least black powder if not cordite?

I'd go the RPG adventurer route instead, endgame always rewards you with your own castle/mini-kingdom.
