While it was cute seeing filly Twilight with her brother, that song just reeked too much of Tastes Like Diabetes, and not in the usual enjoyable way the show has.

Oh forgot, "Twilight is the Best Pony" song in The Ticket Master. The most ideal shameless sucking up song ever.

I'm sure there are siblings out there somewhere who don't hate each other, rare as they may be. Otherwise somebody on the writing staff would have gone "Hey, wait a sec".

It looks fine to me, though I still think you make the heads too elongated. Try drawing them a bit shorter.

To be fair the Apple siblings get along fairly well, it was only their first appearances they really bickered (eg. Bridle Gossip and Applebuck Season).

Wasn't Twilight kinda super pissed at Shining Armor over getting married at that point anyway?

Actually, I beg to disagree. I used to but heads with my two sisters, and I still do at times. But after I went off to college and spent some extended time away from them, I definitely started to miss them, and them me. I identified with Twilight in that song 100%, so it can't be that unrealistic.

Well, it was more that he was getting married without notifying her beforehand, which I think is plenty reason for her to be upset.

It is kinda unrealistic being to the outright saccharine manner it was in that episode. Maybe if we seen Shining Armor in more casual moments with her however, it would be more haphazardous.

NVM it did and intrestingly, the biggest gripes i'm seeing aren't about how it showed bronies, but about how bad or boring people though the show as a whole was, and (probably rightly at least in part) figuring making a big deal about making a "brony" episode was just a ratings grab.

Though appearntly it wasn't that bad of a look on us overall, just rather, bland

It didn't offend me as a Brony, it offended me as a sitcom fan.

The thing that gets me most about the Hot in Cleveland thing is just that they would make that joke at all. Having been forced to see a couple of episodes, it seems to be aimed at an older middle age and up crowd. Not the sort of show that would go for making fun of a still fairly obscure internet fad.
