Ummm, they haven't yet, and we havne't seen how that ep will play out. I can see them forgving, but ONLY if Dust learned her lesson and truly changed, which we saw no proof of and suddenly going from

"I almost killed people with my recklessness, oh well doens't matter."

To, anything remotely like what a team like the Wonderbolts would tolerate, is not going to happen ovenght.

Again it wasn't the recklessness, that would have been easy to fix. It was the near sociopathic lack of any feeling at all over nearly killing somepony.

Idea, instead of having her be a sociopath. have her feel bad, have her show a bit of regret over it, but say that being a Wonderbolt means pushing yourself, accidents happen, etc... show she does care, but she thinks that pushing yourslf is more important. Make it that she truly thinks taking risks like that are part of what you have to do, which would set Dah off and tell Spitfire she quits if that's what it meant, then Spitfire makes clear to Dust she got it wrong.

Like I said, Equestria runs on easily forgiven. but the one thing that is required for it, is remorse and showing that you are sorry and won't do it again. Long as those criteria are met, and you fix whatever mess you made. No issues
