Oh, you're gonna have fun with Psychonauts. Most amazingly trippy game I've ever played.

I just wish the camera worked better. I think that's the problem with all third person platformers. At least the dialogue is hilarious.

Ah, Psychonauts. I beat the first level. I really must play more of it - the characters and setting are just so much fun. A game that's simply charming like that makes a nice change of pace from dull, gritty games that don't seem to be aware that nobody takes their stories seriously. I swear, Battlefield 3 has to have the worst single-player campaign I have ever witnessed in a shooter.

Fanfiction I hate.

Hey me too. I probably won't have time to play the rest for a while though.

Well, in the Tolkienvese, giant eagles are as much a race as dwarves, hobbits etc. Thy are just as intelligent, can talk and were created to be the chosen race of Manwe. But of course, they aren't humanoid like the others were.

Also, there are multiple "tribes" of elves with subtly different cultures. The Noldor or "deep elves" did have the living underground and loving gems thing. Partly why the dwarves both identified with them the most and conflicted with them the most out of all the typesof elves. So they fit that aspect of unicorns.

Kegi has a point about dwarves fitting pegasi the best in terms of culture, but earths best in terms of the whole earth association, while hobbits fit earths best culurally.

My favorite are the Tardy Elves, even though they technically never even appeared.

Also, you've got to feel sorry for the Superfluous Elves.

I hate computers. I was trying to make a simple PNG image of my latest art efforts...and it just would not work...and now I accidentally deleted the work. I hate computers.

Did you check the recycle bin? If it's a file you deleted, you can probably still recover it.

Saved it. Thanks story.

Now, I have PNG and a JPEG version of it. Please, somebody tell me how to get it onto this site.

Well, I usually put stuff into an image hosting site like Photobucket and then link to there, myself.

I have to try Psychonauts.

Also, I don't think that the Dinky pic was intended to reflect Derpy's absence, but like I said before, I don't mind if she never appears again, as long as the writers at least give us confirmation that she's gone.

Looks good to be. Perhaps a bit too stretched vertically.

The pony itself is really good. He could use a more curved tail, but I like how he looks. His vest's seams, however, need to be curved into the background, it looks too flat.
Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead.

Is this for a comic?

Sort of. These are sort of 'practice pics' for my webcomic.

Thank you.

Don't forget to turn off the background once you're done so you don't see the paper and pencils behind the digital art!

I thought the backgroudn was intentional for comparison.

[up][up][up] Do not let it get away with it. Otherwise it'll try that again.

Fixed it! grin

I still feel that the whole operation is coming off as very amateurish...from the pics themselves to how I'm loading them. Hopefully I'm improve to a standard that I could go 'public' with.

That's just Rarity, not a general unicorn thing.
Chrysalis-as-Cadance does say that the caves beneath Canterlot were once home to greedy unicorns who wanted to claim the gems that could be found inside.

Wryte is... correct... that you can get a completely white background by making the layer with the original sketch invisible.

Also, you can crop out the white space around your pony. There's a tool specifically for cropping, or you can use the rectangular select tool and then "crop to selection".

Doing those before you export would go a long way towards making the finished product look professional.
If you ask me, the space whale was your magnum opus, honey.

I just wish the camera worked better. I think that's the problem with all third person platformers.

Yeah, the camera was a bit too low to the ground and messed with depth perception during some of the segments, and the spiral net at the very end of the last level was a complete pain in the ass because it insisted on giving you the least useful angle you could possibly have had. It really needed a timer that would leave the "smart" camera alone for a couple seconds if you manually did something with the mouse.

Oh right, ponies. Here, have Scoots cosplaying Raz and Spike having troubles with his inner bull.
