In all honesty, I didn't even notice that much of a change in her voice. It sounds different, yeah, but of course she's going to sound different when she's being all businesslike.

It's not just gruffer, it also sounds much more higher pitched and comical. Not got much of a problem with it, but I hope they at least make some consistant depiction for the rest of her appearances.
That's... really weird. I only speak English, but I can definitely tell the difference between voices in other languages. There are even a bunch of Japanese voice actors/actresses that I can recognize across different shows, even if I don't know them by name.
I never noticed this, but then again, I'm not a huge anime buff.
