Looking at those clips again, there's definitely a big difference between that and her later ones, though admitedly no more so than comparing some of Strong's roles (eg. Twilight Sparkle vs Timmy Turner).

I just stumbled into the news of Spitfire VA and all I can think off is all the people on youtube and facebook who went crazy because "they changed the voiceeeeee!" I wonder how those people feel now....
Personally, I didn´t even notice but since I´m not an english speaker actually all the voices sound the same to me (no offense but honestly I can´t tell the diference between english voices).

That's... really weird. I only speak English, but I can definitely tell the difference between voices in other languages. There are even a bunch of Japanese voice actors/actresses that I can recognize across different shows, even if I don't know them by name.

In all honesty, I didn't even notice that much of a change in her voice. It sounds different, yeah, but of course she's going to sound different when she's being all businesslike.

Really? That's odd, I can barely speak french but can still define french-speaking voices easily.
Of course, my hearing is abnormally acute - which is why I was terribly confused about people complaining they changed her voice, because I honestly didn't hear it. She got a little gruffer, yeah, but... people can do that, you know. In fact, they often will do that to achieve an effect like, you know, being intimidating?
I mean Shit, Bob Ross was a drill sergeant. You think he asked his soldier what they thought about happy little motherfucking trees? Shit no!

It's not just gruffer, it also sounds much more higher pitched and comical. Not got much of a problem with it, but I hope they at least make some consistant depiction for the rest of her appearances.

Yup, I´m new in here.
I have met other people with the same problem not being able to tell voices apart (a spanish person being unable to tell Latinamerican voices apart and viceversa). I remember watching Justice League Unlimited in English and all the voices sounded the same to me.
And on this show I had no idea they had diferent singing voices until I heard it on Everfree radio. To me Rarity voice was always the same (of course now I know better and I love Kazumi Evans but back then I thought it was Tabitha singing)

Well, I'm a former drummer, and because, well, as a drummer, my hearing may not be the best to judge with.
Everyone assuming The Other Darrin can be credited to both multiple websites (including us) having the wrong VA listed for 2 years and Spitfire's on-duty personality.
