The difference in voices didn't bother me any more than the difference in behavior did. And for the same reason.

@Calnos: In July of this year, someone who got to talk to Steffan Andrews and Daniel Ingram reported:

The "Junior Speedsters Chant" (season 1, episode 5, "Griffon the Brush Off") was an improvised ditty that Ashleigh Ball and Maryke Hendrikse did on the spot in the recording studio.

...but that doesn't specify whether Ashleigh Ball and Maryke Hendrikse were actually mentioned by name then or if something generic like "Rainbow Dash and Gilda's VAs" was all that was said, so I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that someone else voiced Gilda. EDIT: Never mind about this; see my next post.

@Apple: Layering is fairly straightforward, the layer are ordered top-to-bottom and can be manipulated. You can use masks to hide part of a layer as well (right click + Add Mask).

Dashie doesn't seem to stay friends with folks who are too much like her sans her good qualities

All this talk about VA's reminds me of the time Lauren Faust thought Kathleen Barr was Princess Celestia, despite it clearly saying Nicole Oliver in the credits. This was apparently because Kathleen was almost Celestia and her audition just stuck around in Lauren's mind.

That was a funny day.
