Actually, if you listen to how she's singing in this episode, it's pretty clear that Sweetie sounds bad because she'd singing about an octave out of her vocal range. Just because you're a good singer doesn't mean you know your own limits.

I noticed that at one point where Scootaloo got thrown into the air/was falling at one point (which happened multiple times so I don't remember which time it was), she grabbed onto a cloud and hung on it for a bit before it broke. Which is a gag that really could only be used with a pegasus like her, since only they can handle clouds like they're solid (unless an Earth pony or unicorn is under the influence of a cloud-walking spell). And I think they did the same thing in Hearts and Hooves Day where she was the one who got the piece of cloud for the potion.

Also, did anyone think that Scootaloo's "story" sounded like a description of G3? Especially with the rainbows everywhere part, too, and it's even funnier considering that Scootaloo is based off a G3 pony.
