I removed pipsquak as the scrappy simply beucase it has no basis even if it is YMMV. The episode just aired this morning there is no way he is a scrappy this fast.

I prefer that version of the song, honestly.

As for the video itself... it could be better. Some parts are synced to the lyrics, and to the rhythm of the song, while other parts are jut scenes played unaltered with the music behind it. And some footage is repeated.

I think that if we wait until, say, Monday or Tuesday at the earliest, we'll have something better.

I have to say that at first I thought Canon!Luna was going to suck, but she has a nice range of emotions. Tabitha St. Germain voices her, right? That might explain why Rarity didn't appear despite her showing up in a leaked storyboard.

Also, what would you guys say your favorite episode is? I like "Dog and Pony Show" because it has Rarity, who's probably my favorite pony, and the Diamond Dogs, the best villains.

Right. Tabitha's great at doing multiple voices, but there was still a moment when Luna sounded exactly like Rarity. I think this moment was commented on, some pages back.

Personally, I think we should enact some kind time-limit rule before we claim a character is a Scrappy or Ensemble Darkhorse. When a new episode airs there's a lot of hype and discussion over the episode, especially if a new character (or an animation error) appears in the episode.

Screwball, for example, got a bunch of fanart day of airing, and continues to show up in fanart and a few fanfics. "Pluto", however, a few jokes were made and a few images were uploaded to Ponibooru, but nothing much as come of that after a week.

Regarding Japanese fans of FiM: Frankley I don't find it surprising in the least. The Powerpuff Girls were so big over there they decided to remake the entire thing from the ground up.
