Ha, I helped Zennistrad find one of those pictures and I didn’t even know that’s what he was doing.

I just noticed today that Ciriliko uses some weird onomatopoeia. I don’t know how much of it comes from Spanish being his first language, and how much is just him being weird. But apparently zas! is the sound effect of building a snowpony, knitting, and standing up behind a hedge.

I made the mistake of reading all of Ciriliko's comics right before trying to do some writing. It...it didn't go well.

If I remember right he actually referred to the room we see in the premiere as her dormitory, so apparently she lived in the library.

There were also a couple good voice actor gags. Tabitha did both Granny Smith and Rarity, and Cathy turned into Spike a few times.

Also, in the shot of the pegasi carrying Twilight and Spike into town, the reason they're running in the air is because the director used Santa and his reindeer as a reference; he basically went "whenever you see Santa, his reindeer are running in the air, so we'll do it like that". There were a few other things as well, but I can't recall the specifics.

@Meta, RE: Magics: My God, she already managed to summon her first creature with the parasprite!

The only question is, what sort of creature is a Parasprite? I'd say probably Green(They DO live in a forest), but there's also the possibility that they're white, since they start weak but Twi has already managed to buff them in the episode they appeared. I'm not sure "Eat Everything" is a white spell, but hey. She might be like, white/red.

I wonder who Twilight's roommate was XD Also, what sort of voice actor gags were there? What did they do with the voices?

The Granny Smith one was joking about how unintelligible her voice originally was. I don't remember the others off the top of my head; they were rather brief due to trying to stuff so much commentary into one episode.

@Kegisak: I always imagined Parasprites to be 1/1 green flying Insect tokens with additional activated ability to multiply if they deal lethal damage in combat or you sacrifice permanents to them.

A roommate who keeps to herself and spends most of her time studying and reading? I don't think I'd mind that too much.

Parasprites are definitely Green. They're like the Saprolings of Equestria.

She might have faced some jealousy and resentment from other students who had to slog their way in.

I sort of headcanoned that everyone in the castle lived in dormitories. Some large building complex to house those who worked in the castle, and was eventually expanded to include anyone who worked at/attended the academy. Probably separated into smaller dorms for individuals (academy students like Twilight) and larger living arrangements for families (castle/academy staff and any spouse/children).

On that note, I'm debating whether to continue mocking my own fic on my liveblog. Last time I tried it it didn't really get any response at all, and it kinda feels weird, but I might have a theme going for my next liveblog update.
