It's common fanon that Golden "Carrot Top" Harvest is Applejack's rival. Though more in the "Carrot Top wishes she was as succesful as Applejack and is delighted whenever she has any sort of advantage over her" sense. It makes some sense. They're both farmers and Carrot Top is apparently also athletic. Plus they're next door neighbours.
