@Ed
I came up with new character names!
Sturmmann Snips and Rottenführer Snails.
The metal of your chains is no match for the metal in my veins.
Not only were brand new models created for the beavers and raccoons, which hadn't appeared in any previous episodes before, but the gray rabbit on the performance team also had a unique model to differentiate her from Angel and his twin, with a slightly larger head and front paws as well as obvious eyelashes to indicate that she was female.
That's a neat touch. I never noticed.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I like that you can tell that Trixie's repentance is legitimate
because she's so self-centered and hypocritical about it.
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."
But to think, a fair amount of people thought that either Trixie would end up as The Dragon to King Sombar, or that the amulet would at least have some connection to him, but both theory's got compleatly and utterly Jossed
Actually, it's still entirely possible that the amulet is related to King Sombra.

@kegi: Oh lawd that was a real thing wasn't it?
So Trixie couldn't do her job and has to work on a rock farm to stay alive, how did she get those golds she used in the cold opening? Did she steal them?

Another one of those little 'extra' scenes I thought up.
- Twilight, Celestia, and the SA delegates are in the library or some other private chamber,
maybe sharing a glass of wine or something -
Celestia and one of the horses are discussing something in (some equivalent of) Arabic
- Twilight becomes curious, pulls out a book of linguistic spells
- She quietly flips through the book until she finds a translation spell
* Some sort of one-way
Universal Translator. Could be used two-way if the conversation partner can also use the spell.
, then activates it and listens in
- They're actually talking about Twilight— Celestia is praising her and her progress, but notes
that she seems to have a habit of eavesdropping on others' conversations; she glances over at Twilight and smiles a bit
- Twilight blushes and deactivates the spell

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."
I don't think that's strong enough to count as a
Development Gag yet.

I've read all. Including that graphic novel of the first book.
I have a message from another time...
I've always been curious about that graphic novel version. Does it deviate from the book any?
You can't expect me to be fine.
I don't expect you to care.
