How did you first discover this fandom? Did you see it being discussed on a forum? Stumbled across a PMV on youtube? Did a friend tell you about it? For me, my first experience of it was this video (I give you one guess on what I was searching at the time
I think my first contact with the fandom was the Skyrim trailer. The first time I heard about the show at all was a blog post analyzing Equestrian society and deciding that earth ponies were obviously inferior, all the way back in Febuary 2011. At the time, I thought it was just making fun of another dumb show and didn't think much of it.
