Speaking of Rarity's parents, my little brother only now understood that Sweetie Belle does not live in Rarity's house.

There is just something amusing about them, even when they don't do anything.

Well, we do have evidence this episode of their abilities progressing, presented in a way that I'm fairly sure it supposed to mean something. They can't be kept in stasis, IMO, especially if the characters around them are progressing as well, like Twilight with her studies.

I think that if they do earn their Cutie Marks it'll either be during their first or last episode of a series.

Ghosts that really enjoy Sweetie Belle's cooking, apparently.

Ghosts have no sense of taste. Duh.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but...

What were DT and SS doing at Sweet Apple Acres, and the train station? Have they been lowered to stalking the Crusaders now?

[up]I don't think they have much else to do. Or, at least, DT doesn't, and Spoon follows. It's probably what happens when your cutie mark doesn't really give you anything to do (unless the theory saying it stands for talent at jewelry is true).

Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead.

I thought those were supposed to be toast.

DT's talent being "leadership" makes sense.

Also, I'm with those assuming that Babs is an Orange and until shown otherwise, I'm assuming her older sister is the happier AU!counterpart of CDRW's OC.

I'm a fan of the "Diamond Tiara's cutie mark represents Leadership" fanon. Though I'm not really sure what Silver Spoon's could mean.

Yeah, DTSS being at Sweet Apple Acres for no clear reason is a little contrived. Maybe DT's dad was making another business meeting, SS tagged along, and they decided to wonder off to find and bug the Crusaders.

Cause they're assholes.

My theory is that Diamond Tiara is good at metal working, her first product being the tiara she wears and Silverspoon is good at cooking. We don't see these because the story follows the CMC rather than them.

Okay now that I've seen it, I can safely say that this s the worst of the season.

It took the "tell an adult will solve everything" approach which only works if the adult is nearby and the right kind of adult. Despite what the writer said, this reeks of A Very Special Episode.

However the Pinkie gag was great, as was the middle song, and Babs was a good character, I hope she comes back, ....I mean Trixie's returned and she was just a terrible character, so why not her.

The dialogue was also pretty good.

It was a C grade episode, I'd say, ....hopefully this means the next will be better. But since it has Trixie, ......yeah I don't have high hopes for the next, ....the one to look forward to is the Scootaloo episode.
I don't have an Avatar,You gotta DEAL with it!

@Calnos - Eeyup. Really, some of the first things that the duo seen doing was wiggling their flanks to Apple Bloom. Coincidence? Yeah, probably. Hilarious? Oh yeah.

From now on, I shall refer Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon as DAT ASS.

They could also have heard about Babs and been looking for her.
