Barnie Pie sounds like the best Crack Ship ever.

Obviously the unsung hero of barns is Cheerilee's Barn in the Gameloft game. No other barn can provide the right environment for grading an endless stream of poorly written papers.

On the topic of barns, I've noticed that they use barns for surprise parties at least twice—in Party of One and The Last Round-Up.

On an earlier topic, Rainbow Dash having a watch could be a potential callback to Party of One where she drew a fake watch on her arm when giving an excuse to Pinkie as to why she couldn't come to the after-birthday party. So then she realized that she actually WANTED a real watch and got one. Which makes sense that she would need a watch if she wanted to be able to time herself when doing flying routines or even just testing her speed!

Well, the barn is probably the biggest open building in Ponyville after the town hall, and given how the town hall is in disrepair 90% of the time they default to the barn.

Also, in the two cases we've seen, it made logical sense. In Party of One they needed to set everything up someplace where Pinkie wouldn't stumble into it, and in The Last Roundup it was a party for AJ, who lived on the farm.

Also, this amuses me more than it should.◊
