One Pinkie bakes another into cupcakes and eats them. Then the next Pinkie bakes that Pinkie into cupcakes and eats those. Then the next one does the same and so on until there's only one Pinkie left...meaning that they technically did all go back into one. (And for Applelight, this means that the remaining Pinkie has gained all those cupcakes' worth of weight.)
