So, not the best episode, but a good, fun one. They really like woobifying their royal couple, don't they? Pity that Sombra didn't get more charactrisation, but he worked anyway and I appreciate the fanon that has come up for him. About time Spike got some decent recognition. I hope that the windows stay "a thing" and that that book really does mean that we learn more about Star Swirl the Bearded. Also, confirmation that Queens can be good!

Question, do Cadance and Shiny stay at the Crystal Empire now? They seemed to be leaving at the end, but maybe they were just seeing the Mane 6 + Spike off. Surely the cystal pnies need their new leaders?

I only ever heard of Jedi holocrons from Jedi Academy. The rest, I know about from Wookiepedia.

Considering Cadence is "the Crystal Princess", they've probably got a more or less permanent tenure.

I'm also rather concerned by the fact that we saw Luna pretty much as she is now helping Celestia banish Sombra, and by Celestia's assertion that she herself didn't know much about the Crystal Empire. Makes me wonder, yet again, about the exact timeline of the events of a thousand years ago.

So much for gravity.

Well, she may not have known much about the Crystal Empire, but was still inclined to help anyway. As for Luna, it could just be that she had a power regression after her Nightmare Moon stint and she grew back into her current form over time.

Or the animators didn't pay attention. You decide what's more likely.
