yeah but she did realize she was overdoing a bit eventually, just, not quite enough.

Seriously, when's the last time we've had to deal with that place, other than pay Zecora a visit?
It showed up in teh flashback of FAP.

For reference, she makes this face when she's searching for her quills.
That reminds me. Did anyone else get major Lesson Zero vibes from teh beginning?

Jousting still seems like it'd be painful.

That's just Twi being...Twi.
@Mio: Well, real people aren't consistent in there actions all the time either. Back in Hurricane Fluttershy Dash seems to have made a conscious effort to treat Fluttershy different. But she regresses back to her old standards repeatedly. It's just the way she is.
Sweet! How do the ponys use lances? Or...better yet...what do they actually do?

Going few pages back:
I also liked how competent Sombra was. I definitely give him a credit for his hard work.
The problem I had is that his motivation and characterization was vague at best.
For some reason, I expected him to have a Stalin-like character.
No heroes, no villains, only people.
I cringed a tad at the lack of shields. do you know how much something like that could hurt when directly impacting the armor?

Yeah. Most of what we know of Sombra is his preparation and determination (in manipulating his broken horn, corrupting the place from within, and then
regrowing his horn).

I have a message from another time...
So, Trixie won't be Sombra's dragon? I remember when that leaked image of Trixie wearing a necklace they thought she would be appearing in the Crystal Empire episodes. Maybe she gets some leftover relic from King Sombra?
she's a unicorn, not a dragon, silly.

Yeah, he tried so much harder than all the other major villains so far.
