Well, not super brilliant. Truth told it may even be a bit trite. But I had a good idea for a really good Applejack episode - one that'll actually give her a bit of character development... and may not even have to actually focus on her, sicne the creators seem to hate that.

Applejack... tells a lie. On purpose! The idea is that one of the others teasers her for being transparent, so to show them that she can actually deceive someone(And maybe give a prod at all those people who think she's dumb), she sets up a big, sprawling prank for the girl/s in question. It still plays on her big fault - being too prideful - rounds out her character a bit by showing that she's not just some dumb farm girl, and depending on the nature of the prank could give a bit of insight into her. Moral wise, you could even have a twofer - the other girl learns that, you know, you maybe ought to have a bit of respect for your friends, and AJ could learn something about going too far, maybe. I mean, it's not hard to imagine that her pride could lead to her overdoing the prank and genuinely freaking the other girl/s out. Like, she might make it look like she's run away again in order to get them out of the way for a while, or send them on a wild goose chase.

@keg Well, I like it. Especially having two morals, as AJ strikes me as the kind of pony who would overdo a prank, being a first timer and having just been challenged to it.

Ok the Monty Python pmv is great. The only thing I noticed is that the Blueblood part could use some tweaking.
