Normally I would say that people are just saving their excitement for Bonfire Night, but I don't think that happens much in Belfast, for obvious reasons.

Amazingly enough, I have only a single crossover to report on today! Plenty of AU stories, however! Lets start with the light and fun stuff and leave the darker stuff for last, hmm?

Keeping Your Hooves On The Ground. The untold story of what happened after filly Dash rainboomed and Flutters fell. The story of Dash's harrowing adventure to save Flutters from that most dangerous of places, the ground.

A fun little story. I'm considering adding this one to my headcanon.

Lightening The Load -in progress. Every 200 years, the villains, bad guys, and anti-heroes of the multiverse come together for the Interdimensional Gathering of Malevolence. This time, Equestria is chosen as the verse for this meeting. However, with NMM nowhere to be found, and Discord on ice, it's up to Chrysalis to play host. There's only two problems: 1) Chrysalis doesn't really consider herself a villain(the whole Canterlot thing was a matter of necessity!) and 2) she doesn't know the first thing about hosting such a large group of people. But she does know a certain pink pony who can plan a party for anyone, or anything...

This story is as crazy as it sounds. Zim? Kerrigan? The G-Man? Grand Admiral Thrawn? Rainbow Dash!? All that and more! However, the author has said that the vast majority of villains will be relegated to cameos, so it won't be that crazy.

On the other hand, the story is also doing its best to give Chrysalis a sympathetic background/life story. And, as always, any interpretation of how changeling society operates is always welcomed.

My Little Mommies- in progress. The Girls, at the behest of Celestia, explore an old, abandoned mansion in a forest outside Manehatten. There, they stumble upon a strange mirror that creates 3 little foals that all combine traits of the three of them, resulting in the offspring of Rarijack, Twidash, and Pinkie Shy. Hilarity ensues. However, action/adventure also ensues, as something had placed that mirror there in the first place, and now wants to collect the results...

Not a bad story, but it's not particularly gripping me either. Probably because it's kinda outside the range of what I normally read. However, I must compliment it on it's interesting mixing of mythology. Sleipnir as Typhon?

Outside the Reaching Sky, sequel to The Dread Chitin. With the massive boost to Equestrian technological advancement at the end of The Dread Chitin, ponies are now spaceworthy. Plans have been made to build a massive starship to explore beyond their own star system, to go where nopony has gone before. But an encounter with a hostile, unknown ship at the borders of their star space kicks these plans into overdrive. Now Twilight and her friends, placed in command of the starship Dauntless, prepare to set out into the potentially hostile great unknown...

I really liked this one, there aren't enough ponies in space fics if you ask me. An epic Space Opera, with ponies!

A World Without Rainbows Act I, Act II, Act III- in progress. Something has been off about Twilight lately. She just hasn't seemed herself. When her friends confront her about it, it turns out that she really isn't herself; she's a Twilight from a different version of Equestria. An Equestria where RD never did the Rainboom. Where Twilight never really made friends with the girls. A world where nopony was able to stop Nightmare Moon from bringing eternal night. A World Without Rainbows. And now real Twilight is stuck in this other world.

I was liking this a lot, but it started getting real dark in act III and I'm not sure I like where it's going..
