holy horseapples I just had one hell of a rewatching the Season 2 premeir. the way Celestia tells her backstory with Discord.

She and Luna were both born as perfectly ordinary ponies it was uncovering the Elements of Harmony that turned them into Aliconrs and it could do the same to all of the mane 6 not just Twilight the reason it hasn't already is their power is spread out among 6 ponies now not just 2.

If this game gets ponified, it would totally be Discord doing all the random stuff.

Why would Twilight not be able to be an Alicorn?

No was going by the "Twi is going to become an Alicorn" going around and saying not just her but all the Mane 6 could at some point. And possibly already have gotten a power boost from their Elements.
