...and then there's Rarity the vampire...
Can you see the world like I do? Can you smile away the pain? Can you feel the cool wind blowing? Can you smell the coming rain?
Oh right, that question. Keep it slice of life, but focus on an entirely different cast, preferably set in a different town. Characters from FIM make occasional cameos, but that's it.
Octavia would be the main character in mine.
I wonder if Twilight's relation with Celestia will change in any way.
Now that her brother has married her niece , that make her technically related to her now.

A post on another forum got me thinking. What are the fanon-accepted "eras" of Equestrian history?
Und wenn du lange in einen Abgrund blickst, blickt der Abgrund auch in dich hinein.
@Veni Vedi: I doubt it. Twilight seems too reverent of Celestia to start treating her more casually, and Celestia already treats her pretty much like family.
Twilight: Yo, Celly! 'Sup?
Pronounced "Sid-zellia"
@IfYouWereInChargeOfAnFimSpinoff/Reboot I already posted a reply saying that it would be the same show in a more modern setting with more continuity, but I might as well post another one.
It would be like a Magical Girl anime or modern superhero cartoon, where the ponies deal with various villains, monsters, and other antagonists across Equestria. Each character would have a major inner conflict that is occasionally touched upon. Other characters would get limelight episodes or major roles across multiple episodes. Celestia and Luna would be a way bigger help, serving as a sort of mission control via magical communication or as a way to signify that SHIT JUST GOT REAL by going in themselves. Fight scenes would crank the HSQ up as high as possible, then make it go even higher when previously mentioned feces becomes nonfictional.
C'MON AND SLAM! AND WELCOME TO THE JAM!
Remember that I only said that I watched the first two episodes and I saw the appeal. Which is actually the truth.
No it's not, you've watched lots of episodes.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
