God told Noah to build an ark. He was about to have a movie night with Fluttershy and the said movie was Schindler's List.
For some reason I thought "Hah. That's funny because the book was titled Schindler's Ark.

@Sereph: I tried reading Antipodes, but that same rushed feeling was just too much for me. I like getting into the heads of the characters, a bit of navel gazing now and then, and I just wasn't getting enough of that. I stopped reading after the dragon sent them to kill the demon, and then suddenly romance ensues! It was all just too much in too short a time.
a shame really, it seemed like a pretty neat setting too.
