The point was try to make what a live-action My Little Pony movie would look like. The guy who made it makes a bunch of fake trailers for that kind of stuff (a particular favorite of mine is this Metroid one). Sometimes he improvises, and in the case of My Little Pony there no actual live-action My Little Pony clips from anything, thus the guy improvised a lot.

I thought it was interesting, and the idea of a live-action movie staring only horses is amusing to me. Imagine if they used nothing but real animals for The Lion King!

Also, on that Daylight's End video...how did "Luna is a singer" become a thing? We have that Children of the Night project, I read a fanfic once that had Luna singing... did I miss something.

Also, Lauren WAS on the list for commentary, but scheduling was a real beast so she'll have to wait for Season 2 D:
