My oldest sister is 21, too. Her birthday was the 8th, on the anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, haha.

It's not... unheard of, no. A guy I went to highschool with is already married. Got married a year ago, almost.

Thing is though, to me 'marriage' says "I am ready to settle down, start a family", sort of thing. I don't see a point unless you're ready for that. I mean, marriage is to someone who you genuinely want to spend your life with.

I just don't feel like 20 is old enough to be ready for that. Shit, I don't think I'll be ready for like... 10 years, maybe.

A lot of Catholics get married young so they can start having babies. She had 'em every few years until she was in her late forties.

Okay, so that's around a kid every 5 years. that's not so bad.

Heh. Sorry, just 'every few years' gives me this image of like, three years on the dot, for some reason. Which is closer to TEN kids.

Has anybody made jokes about a "one-trick pony" with regards to MLPFIM?

I mean, each pony has one cutie mark, which represents their hir special talent and purpose in life. That makes them sound like "one-trick ponies". Then again, they have episodes showing Sweetie Belle eventually able to make pies and capes. Sure, they're not awe-inspiring, but it could show that these ponies can learn more than one trick! wink
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!

Looking back on my Catholic school, there were a couple families with a ton of kids (mostly people with small ranches), but it was mostly 1-2 apiece otherwise.

Former Catholic presenting the latest Batty design.

The reason for the mane style change was simple...despite the outlandish colours and designs they use, FIM ponies still have very vaguely realistic looking hair dos. Some push the limits of believability, but they all could be translated into human styles. That old mane I had didn't do that. And I quickly realised that it needed work.

This is what I got so fair. It suits him better I think, and it's easier to do two colours in this design (blue and white). I'd love to hear what you all think though.

I honestly like the old style much better. This one looks really poofy and goofy.

@Applelight: I like the old one better as well. This one makes him look like he has a pompadour, which doesn't fit his theme at all. It was way more subtle.

It's a joke, though. That's why raised Raised Catholic is a thing.

I'm lapsed, too. Don't tell my mom.

if I may make a suggestion Apple?

It seemed to me like, the first time around, you were going for a windswetp sort of thing... why not try a slicked-back style? Like, he gelled up a comb and ran it through his mane. That way you can have some flecks pointing out of the back like he had before.

Because his current do is... big. to say the least.
