While we're talking fanfic, I'm just going to plug this project

. Basically, about sixty different authors, (myself included) picked characters from the show and wrote brief oneshot slice of life fics about them. It's intended as a way to get more press for everybody involved and give the authors an opportunity to experiment a bit. There are only half a dozen up there now, but it's going to be updating on a regular basis until all of the snippets are up.

@Blissey: And as far as I know, it's only ponies. I.e. no Discord, no Diamond Dogs, etc. I was lucky to get in early enough that I got a canon character.

@D Roy: It's confirmed to start in November, but we still don't have a specific date.

@Perpetual: The guy who organized the whole thing is a fan of my Twijack story, so he let me know about it before it exploded. I would have posted about it in the fanfic thread earlier, but I didn't know it would get as big as it did. He may or may not be doing a followup; if it happens I'll be sure to let you know.

@Marston: Scootaloo. I submitted the doc, but it hasn't been updated yet. I'll probably post it again when my section goes up.

Well, we have a guarantee that it'll be within 2 months...

@Perpetual: Same here; I honestly just lucked into it, and even then it's less interaction and more "being one among many contributers". Or moreso, that I could get another circle of proofreaders. Not that the feedback I get here is bad, it's just that half the time everybody is too busy to proofread stuff, and I don't like posting stuff that I haven't had somebody else go over. Case in point, I have Chapter 6 pretty much done, but I don't want to post it until I have somebody read through it first.

Oh wow, that's...I don't even know. On one hand, it feels sort of sacrilegious, but on the other hand, switch Fluttershy in for a lamb still kinda fits.
