where as I recommend it to anyone, it's a fun read, lot sof humor and fun, also a pretty decent overall story

Been playing the Canterlot Defense game. I only beat it with Applejack. She was easy to do it with. Pinkie Pie sucked.

I was excited when I saw the Canterlot Defense thing, but then realized that, despite the name, it wasn't a Tower Defense game.

Really, how do we not have a pony Tower Defense game yet? You could have the girls on the field, both building towers ans fighting enemies! and each would have different abilities! Twi could teleport and shoot magic, Rarity builds extra fabulous towers that are better than normal, Fluttershy can slow down swaths of enemies by Starring them, Pinkie can use her party cannon and build special surprise towers or something, and I dunno for the others!

It would be awesome!

Holy crap! After playing with RD again, I have to say that she is by far the easiest.

I personally am very glad it's not Tower Defense.

I wonder if the Mane 6 could be related to the 6 elements in Element TD.

AJ is short range, but the best damage overall

Rarity is a long range, slow attack tower

Pinkie is midium range, low damage, incredably fast attack

RD is a medium range straight line AOE

Twi is a massive AOE

I'd see a TD playing out more with the Manes as commanders. They could wander around, provide direct firepower as needed, or man an emplacement for added power, with special abilities and specialized passive buffs to certain kinds of emplacements. You could also pick 1-2 for assists and lesser buffs. I feel like that'd be the most intuitive way to give a decent situational rock-paper-scissors effect without falling into the usual "developer had a massive hardon for Tower X" that plagues the genre.

Oh, and the AOE slow is provided by Hugh Jelly.

Current project: Answering the "See the girls in their Grand Galloping Gala dresses.

Phase one in process, draw all the girls, particularly the ones going into new physical designs.

Can't show prelim sketches because they are technically naked, though there's nothing explicit. Headshots instead.

I once tried to make my own TD map but it was rather unbalanced. It doesn't help that it was based on another TD which was very flawed itself.

@Mousa: Looks pretty good, although RD looks a little broad shouldered, and her hair looks rather AJ-ish. I really like this version of Rarity, though.
