^Well, that's what I mean. Maybe I'm just not remembering the episode right, but her drama queen side usually isn't played that often. It was really funny, but I was watching the episode with my roommate (caught up) and a friend of ours (new to the series, bar three or four episodes) and I doubt he got the best impression of any of the girls.

Well I think all of them were acting kinda insensitive towards Twilight. (I know why, but still)

She wasn't greedy though, that's something, and she did seem concerned about Twilight in the Boutique scene.

btw. Rarity's "Oh there it is, " is probably the weirdest line reading in the episode. She sounds like a completely different pony

But she was controlling Fluttershy's entire body. We've never seen telekinesis used on part of a pony before.

By the way, on Eq D, the comments on this episode already surpassed those of Return of Harmony part 1, that is quite a big feat, considering how much hype that one had.

Real horses pull off pretty alarming Slasher Smiles. Twilight Sparkle reflected that a leeeeeetle too well when she snapped.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

After having read the analysis about how fully-crazy Twilight's methods resembled Discord's, I now kind of want to see a comic or video that puts his words in her mouth during her scene with the CMC. It'd be funny.

"Return of Harmony" was more epic; "Lesson Zero" is more slapstick/comedic.

Both are great, but it's like trying to compare Lord of the Rings to A Night At the Opera.

magic was used a lot more casually in this ep as well

I know I'm wrong, but Twilight seemed to be a lot more trigger happy with her powers than usual. Maybe it's just me
