You're assuming that the timeline is mutable, but all the canon evidence suggests that it isn't.

Even if the timeline was mutable, if she went back and changed the past then she would never have had a reason to go back and change the past in the first place so she never would have and then we'd be back where we started. That's how paradoxes happen.
