Okie dokie, Loki.

You know, he used to be a horse, too, you know. He's the mother of the mighty steed Sleipnir. I love Norse Mythology. [lol]

yay time for uber dark ultra pony time.

also realized today you are going to have so much fin with the second half of the season, tons of shit that can show off the hidden skills of the Ponyville militia.

I think I've brought this up before, but in My Littel Avengers, Pinkies cartoon abilities are explained as her being a great great great~ descendant of Sleipnir

Judging by episode title, I figure this is about the inherent problems of having a monarchical system where no pony may vote and the only authority is either Celestia and Luna, and Luna doesn't have as much authority as Celestia. The title, "Sweet and Elite" refers to the attitudes of the rich and powerful in Equestria: We are alright, fuck the rest.

I have no fucking idea what I'm talking about.

@Steve You're half-right, actually.

Yay!

Also, Rarity is currently being treated more nicely than a foreign diplomat. All because Twilight, a pony with friends in high places, said so. Once again, my theories are right and everyone is wrong! Hahah!

Rarity...stop kissing the Princesses' hooves, you don't know where they've been.

Its okay Steve, I have no idea what the fuck you're talking about either.

The episode is actually about how Rarity can be kind of a bitch.

yeah, that's pretty much true, it is the attitude of most of the high class ponies. The question is just how much power do they actually have.

My thought is, none, the "rich and powerful" ponies really have no influence on anything since Celestia and Luna are the ultimate power and they definitely don't put up with that shit. The only ones they matter to are other high society ponies, and high Society wannabes like Rarity, the rest just laugh at their over indulgent, self centered douchyness and snobbishness and laugh while going on to do real work.

Did Rarity and the Princess blatantly ignore a servant about to die?

Then he gets crushed under Rarity's luggage, and she doesn't give a damn!

oh the Molestia memes that sprang from that scene.

and yeah the way they treat the bellcolt really is the biggest misstep in the episode.

I have to wonder why Celestia even puts up with the upper class ponies, they don't seem to contribute anything to society.

I see...

We must travel to Equestria and set up a SOCIALIST STATE!

Then step back and see whether or not it works with ponies.

[up] Hopefully, she'll just use a fire spell then fly away laughing.

Well, they're her subjects too. It would be nice if she would give 'em a piece of her mind.
