@Mousa: I like your unusual designs for the human ponies, especially Fluttershy's exaggerated height and Pinkie's chubbiness. I've always had a fascination with size extremes, and I often incorporate such things into my own fanfic characters as well (Sailor Moon fanfics, mainly). Then again, I tend to write to entertain myself first, and others second, so if you're trying to do it to entertain others first then obviously others' opinions would matter to you more than it would to me (I don't really want to change any of my characters or stories simply to suit the tastes of others, especially not something like fanfics where I'm not being paid for it).

@Steven: I agree, I don't really like the whole "Scootaloo as fandom Butt Monkey" thing either, and if I ever made any pony fics that included her, even as a background character, I'd probably make sure that good things happened to her just to be contrary, and because I think she and the other CMC deserve to have some successes that aren't just accidents.

@Applelight: Are you at all familiar with Sailor Moon? Because you might like my fanfics, since I usually have at least one chubby/fat Senshi in them, if not more.

My headcanon is that Scootaloo is a wiley street urchin.

But she's disabled just to a lack of poisonous spines.

Besides, to be a true street urchin, Scootaloo would need a Cockney accent.

With or without spines, a literal sea urchin would be in big trouble if it was out on the streets, since I'm pretty sure that they're aquatic animals, given the term "sea urchin."

And I'd probably like it if Scootaloo had a Cockney accent, simply because of my love of accents. If that were the case, then each of the CMC would have a different accent (Apple Bloom has an American Southern accent and Sweetie Belle has a "General" American accent).

Scootaloo used to be a hippie, with her parents who all lived in a big collective. One day, the Royal Guard went through, and beat all the hippies to death. Scootaloo picked up a scooter and rode for her life.

She arrived in Ponyville, and set up a small dwelling underneath the library, in the basement, back before Twilight moved in. She only came up for food and water for years, until she then became confident enough to stay outside with the general populace.
