The train made me very, very happy.
It adds cannon backing to my story. And I like trains.
But no puller ponies? Hmmm...odd.
Also, did Dash really perform an actual Sonic Rainboom there?

In another forum, I'm a sentient off road vehicle.
I know. Which bugs me, since I always thought AJ was supposed to be the strength and RD was the speed.
The Tactical Rainboom
was speed. She wasn't using muscle to blow up the barn, she was just crashing into it at the highest velocity she could go. For the most part, she wasn't
punching the barn, she was flying into it at high speeds.
She can weather the forces from mach speeds, so she was appropriate for living artillery.
Applejack probably could have just kicked the thing apart herself without needing to do all that, but it was quicker to use Rainbow for it.

It had one of those
blast-wavey Saturn rings that are so popular lately, so I'm saying yes.
By the way, has Dash ever had those multicolored smoke clouds trailing her when she takes off/lands before?

I have a message from another time...
No. I guess it's part of the new style.
By the way, how did the Mayor manage to get the doll from Big Mac when he was on top of a pile of ponies? Did she learn offscreen levitation skills from Pinkie Pie?

Considering that we puny humans can do the same in real life, I've no doubt that AJ could have bucked the barn to bits no problem. But RD can do it faster.
Maybe AJ's saving her energy for the clearing of the debris?

Well, who wouldn't like that?

x5 Hey good point!
AJ: Well sir, time fer me to destroy that there barn of mine.
RD: Let me do it! I've perfected the Sonic Rainboom, and I want an excuse to use it!
AJ: The Rainboom! Hay yeah I wanna see that! You do the trick, and ah'll sit here an' watch!

^^ It was a Sonic Raincrash. She's very good at crashing. Though this is the first time it's been particularly destructive.

On a different note,
Crazy Twi is best pony. Seriously, Pinkimena had NOTHING on that!

Added "Stern Teacher" trope to Celestia. I feel it's completely justifiable considering what Twilight did.
"You're my favourite Princess ever!"
^^ They live in a world of cartoon physics, remember?
I doubt Rarity would have actually been hurt if RD hadn't gotten to her in time in Sonic Rainboom. She might have left an amusing shaped dent in the ground though.

Now I have this theory that Macintosh just has to stamp his hooves in the ground and all the apples fall off all the trees around him.
Yeah, this is a toon 'verse.
Also, Big Mac is awesome.

I love the idea that the debris would have bounced off Mac like it was litter caught in the wind.
