I love this bit from the YMMV page, under
Accidental Aesop:
Celestia's amendment at the end of "Lesson Zero" sort of turns the moral into "if your friend has a psychotic breakdown, you're obligated to share her homework load. Even if you don't go to school."
As I find so much pleasure in that melts away as I breath, I am always full of regret.
Celestia just didn't want to miss her programme.
She was all like: "ANOTHER ONE?!" and then she appeared and was all getting her Moon Kick ready but then she thought "Nah." and gave everyone homework.
Good leader. Best teacher.

And that is why he is Best Assistant.

Celestia just has a letter fetish and will grab at any excuse to rope more ponies into writing to her.
I think there has to be a status quo breaking moment in which Spike matures and will have to leave Twilight.

Yeah. . .this episode. I'm pretty certain I'm the only one on this thread who doesn't like it and thinks that it really didn't do anything to flesh out Twilight's character, but that's really all I have to say about that.

I doubt it. He's way too attached.
It'll be all sad and shit, but then he'll get other dragon buddies, and they'll be all taking him to Las Pegasus and shit, and it'll be swell.

@Mio: I think it's a below average episode myself.
In a later episode, Fluttershy also goes mental.
Don't you mean an earlier one?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

Plutonia, being an
Obstructive Bureaucrat, has power over paperwork of all kinds. Celestia's creating more letters as a way of getting back in Plutonia's good graces.

The portable Venus of occupied space. Grace is a maze of amazing taste.
@story - That too. But hey, in that episode at least she didn't make anyone cry.

@storyyeller - Ah, I remember that one.
Steven, I hope you check out

I like the way Twilight's ears twitched. So cute!

She tried to stop...but the parchments. They call to her. And she wants to answer that call.
...The fuck did I just type?

So, in "Griffon the Brush Off", when Spike accidentally sent Celestia 70 scrolls at once...
