Joke lyrics? I'm intrigued.
I feel like I could touch the heavens, and sock angels.

@ed: Right. Because ponies who listen to the wrong music deserve to be shunned.

Wow, you guys, I just realized I kind of have a lot of stuff left to do.

I'm gonna knock off early tonight. I'll catch ya later.

[up] Here, real quick, it just goes like this:

Mine eyes hath seen the glory of the coming of the Lord

He is speeding down the highway in a '57 Ford

With one hand on the throttle and the other on a bottle of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer!

You never learned that as a kid, huh?

@Dot: I'm a hipster myself and I hate the label "indie rock". Either it's used correctly (to tell us that the band isn't signed to a major record label—which is far less useful information than some might think) or it's used incorrectly as a genre, indicating that the speaker is unaware of the label that already describes that style.

@condo Nope. Funny, though.

@Connie: Wait, which side is shunning who? Was I shunning? I hope I wasn't shunning.

@ed: Shunning people (or just looking down on them) for listening to the wrong music is a common hipster behavior.

[up][up]I know that. I guess I was just confused by Connie's statement for a moment.

[up][up][up]Is it a Meta Four behavior?

EDIT: So, anyone hope Season 3's airdate will be revealed soon?

I know the joke lyrics to The Battle Hymn of the Republic better than the real ones.

Which ones?

Edit: You never learned that as a kid, huh?

I've seen lots of lyrics to it, but I've never seen that one. I remember one of them had the refrain "Glory, glory Hallelujah, Teacher hit me with a ruler". I don't remember the other versions unfortunately.

Fun optical illusion:

There isn't even a date on its pilot airing day, is there?
Let the gratuitous fanservice and zaniness be purged.

It's a groundhog. If it sees its shadow you get 6 more days of no ponies.

In terms of joke lyrics to Battle Hymn Of The Republic, I remember something about dress choice based on the seasons.

@ed: "This is pitiful. A thousand people freezing their butts off waiting to worship a rat. What a hype. Groundhog Day used to mean something in this town. They used to pull the hog out, and they used to eat it. You're hypocrites, all of you!"

The other day, I said that Season 3 is just coming over the top of the hill, but then it ducks back down for a few days. No one knows why.

[up]Shepard's art is interesting, I'll give it that. And you don't have to use that example. Maybe Blizzard. tongue
