I really liked that four shot comic with Human!Rarity and Human!Twilight.

I also liked the "Boring Mom" Rainbow Dash comic as well.

Good night, Applelight.

I will be out as well. Classes tomorrow.

[awesome] Congrats on earning the Non Sequitor Post Of The Day Award.

Also, I guess I'm a hipster because my image of pirates was somali before they became famous.

@Story: About Hellfire: Well, the parts that are in Latin and Greek are just phrases I know already from church and stuff.

The part in the beginning is the Confiteor, which is part of the Penitential Rite.

It means this:

I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and what I have failed to do; and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

They changed it recently, but I like the old one better.

"Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa" is "my fault, my most grievous fault."

"Kyrie eleison" is Greek for "Lord have mercy on me."

"Beata Maria" is "Blessed Mary, " but that one's easy.

well, there we go, done with FOE. Certainly the longest fanfic I've ever read. But the ending...I wanted a bit more closure than that. So, they did manage to activate the Gardens of Equestria...so then who were the other elements? They were still one short, right? They had kindness, laughter, loyalty, honesty, magic in the form of friendship...where was generosity? Did I miss something or did they really find the last element offscreen? The Pair the Spares at the end also kinda bugged me. I mean, Ditzy and Lionheart? Seriously? and did they really have to go all Memento in chapter 44?

all that said, it was definitely a worthwhile read, no doubt about that.

hmm...now just how much spinoff material do I have to go through...

Haven't decided yet. I mean, the most logical choice would be something country, but I don't like country music, so I don't know. Maybe Lynyrd Skynyrd or Johnny Cash. Of course, that isn't the whole picture, so I might choose something else.

Glad you liked it, and yeah we don't see the last Elements, but I'm okay with this, this was Lil'pip's story, not the Wastelands.

TONS, though, Project Horizons is the biggest, and the author of it felt that he had a much much better idea for how to deal with the past. Retcon in his own personal Mary Sue that was secretly behind the scenes responsible for EVERYTHING the Mane 6 did, personal adviser to Luna, and the stallion banging Fluttershy. Oh and make him immortal so he can be an antagonist in the present. Plus retcon random shit from the main story, like have Spike come out of his cave JUST to save the life of the main character, despite all the WRONG with that, and the increased meanness, gore, violence, onsreen torture and gangrape.

Yeah not a fan

Only other one I read was Pink Eyes, which is cute, the writing is far far inferior to the main fic, but overall, it was fun, cute, adorable, and well, while not great, was still enjoyable.

Give me the shiny thing that makes a lot of noise

Even people who hate country like Johnny Cash.

Although I could easily see AJ singing some traditional song from... wherever Granny Smith emigrated from. And dismissing country radio as manufactured garbage.

And if she decided to rock out, it would sound something like 16 Horsepower. [1]

Yeah, I know what you mean. I can't stand that modern pop country BS, but I really like him and different kinds of folk music, especially Irish.

That's because Johnny Cash had the ability to take just about anything and turn it into something cool. You wouldn't think the same guy who did "A Boy Named Sue" would be able to cover something like Rusty Cage or Hurt and make something cool out of it.

Johnny Cash made me think of "Ring of Fire", which made me think of mariachi, and now I want to see Applejack in a sombrero.

"A Boy Named Sue" was written by Shel Silverstein.

I bet a colt named Sue would get just as much crap from his peers, but for a completely different reason. Rather than being mocked for having a girl's name, he'd be mocked for having a completely nonsensical name. "What's Sue even mean? Are you gonna grow up to be a lawyer?"
