I wonder how did Fluttershy ended up becoming a cult leader.
This should be taken to its own thread, though.

Let the gratuitous fanservice and zaniness be purged.
Hellfire into Latin? Connie, you are way too cool.
Journalism is just a gun. It's only got one bullet in it, but if you aim right, that's all you need.

Heck yeah, another Latin geek! I took two years of it in back in high school, and I wish I'd stuck with it.
Yeah, Girl Genius is great fun. I ought to get back to reading it, but I've been busy with The Unwritten and The Sixth Gun.

Semper Fidelis Tyrannosaurus!
Glad I could help, Connie.

Seriously, not enough people are interested in the classics or classic film.

Discord's ship wouldn't only be upside-down, it would skim the surface so that most of the ship was underwater except the part that is usually the bottom, which would be shaped like a giant shark fin. And just when frightened ponies started to relax, realizing it's just the bottom of a boat, his crew of flying sharks (that swim in the air as well as the water) would pop out of the water and attack!
And the only way to defeat them is to jump over them.
I'm trying to figure out how to pre-order the Season One set without letting her know I'm a brony. I don't think it can be done. I can't exactly say it's for someone else.
Tell her you lost a bet?
Now that I know I did not, um, I dunno, we can make up some fanon pony religions or something.
The Stranger and Her Friend
introduced a pantheon of pony deities in the chapter "Miracles". They all fell out of popular favor after Celestia's rise to power—Celly herself is just about the only pony who still worships them.
Apocalypse is the first letter of the alphabet.
