I think my opinion on Rarity and (suprisingly) RD improved during the second season. My opinion on Twilight declined though.

I like Twilight Sparkle.

She is what drew me into the show in the first place. I have learned more about friendship from this show than I have from a lifetime of therapy.

I've totally had Twilight style breakdowns before. It's just that I don't have incredible magical power at my disposal, the results are a lot less extreme.

Ditto. If I did have her magical powers, my town would probably be a smoking crater by this point.

And yes, Rarity is 2nd best pony. The others sort of bounce around depending on my mood.

To answer the two "surveys":

What do you call pop? I call it soda usually.
What do you call sub sandwiches? I call them sub sandwiches.
Is it it a fridge or an icebox? A fridge. And I pronounce garage as "guh-rahj" with two syllables. I actually had never heard of the one-syllable variant until I read the posts here about it.
Has the second season changed your opinions of any characters? It probably knocked Applejack up to first place to tie with Twilight and put Pinkie Pie in second instead of tying for first with Twilight. My opinions of the others (the two pegasi in third place with Rarity last, and yes, I still LIKE Rarity, I just like the others more) didn't really change much. Those three have always pretty much been my favorites of the Mane Six anyway, though. I was really annoyed at Pinkie right after "A Friend In Deed" first aired, simply because I hated how she acted with Cranky (and because she didn't learn the lesson that I thought she would learn, I had hoped she'd learn that you can't pester someone into being your "friend, " but then further reflection (and comparing her to my dog Luna) softened my opinion of her and she jumped back up to second place with Twilight. I think I had a lesser opinion of Applejack at first because I didn't like her behavior in Bridle Gossip (not only her zebra racism, but her being bossy to Apple Bloom) and then my opinion on that also softened when I thought about Applejack's side of the situation and how it would be obvious that the Everfree Forest would be scary to her, considering the events of the pilot episodes. It also helped that I realized that she wasn't necessarily the one behind the worst of the anti-Zecora stuff, that ironically was Pinkie.
