Would a recurring villian (and I mean a real villian, not minor Jerkasses like Trixie) in the show be a good idea?

Turns up in like, six episodes, confronting (or being confronted by) one of the Mane Cast?

but I'm saying that I don't WANT to see a Card Carrying villain. I wanna see a person who seems like a genuinely good guy.

What would they want? I can't think of any affably evil goals for ponies that would require the Mane 6 to deal with it.

But Equestria seems pretty harmonius already. Maybe being a bit too picky and trying to correct every tiny flaw?

Guys, had a funny idea,

a villian who's screwed over by Dashie, so they roll into Ponyville with a GIANT fan attachted to a tank like machine, and they threaten to literally blow her house away if she dosn't play ball.

How would they go about doing that though? They'd need to be in a position of authority, and Celestia wouldn't allow for something like that.

Oh, maybe the ponies could go to a town where the mayor or whoever is overzealous in enforcing the elements.

If there's any pony romance, I want Braeburn. I think I speak for everyone, straight, gay, or bi, when I saw Braeburn is the sexiest pony.

The Elements are bonded to the Mane 6. Not sure exactly what can cause them to re-bond, but I find it hard to believe such a villain would be more worthy than the Mane 6.

You can't use element to brain wash others. Not mention that only Mane Cast can use them.

But they'd need five others who also represent the elements, and they'd need to be able to steal the elements away somehow, if that's even possible. Which if the premier is any indication, would release Discord again.

Recurring villians. That can work.

I'm even thinking about some evil (in Anti Villain way) version of Mane Cast or some similar characters, who can be simpatetic and entertaining even if they are not antagonist in episode.

Yeah, I like the idea of them slipping in moments that seem innocent, but when placed together, they show a relationship.

Also, could someone avatarify this

Yeah, a good natured, but still evil version of the mane cast would be fun, especially if they were all GENUINE friends amongst each other

Also, they can ally up with the mane cast when things get serious, which causes all sorts of hilarity. Imagine Dash having to work with somepony with as big an ego as her!
