I'm curious as to why Twilight, Rainbow, AJ, and Fluttershy have crystal-shaped reflections in their eyes, but Rarity and Pinkie don't.

I noticed that FS, RD, AJ, and Twilight have sort of gem shapes in their eyes. Not sure if that is significant. Also they all look very shiny, RD especially.

I think Dash's hair looks pretty good. Although she seems to have misplaced most of her colors, which is weird.

Cute, I think that's the best Derpy humanization I've seen. For some reason everyone always makes her busty which just feels wrong to me.

Given that a whole bunch of leaked toys have eyes like that, I'd think that the ponies on the DVD cover who aren't like that are the Off Model ones in this situation (unless they're normal on purpose). On a side note, I see that they've updated the DVD title from the initial

Adventures in the Crystal Kingdom to Adventures in the Crystal Empire.

^^ I'd be more inclined to think that if it weren't for the fact that the shinies are crystal-shaped, and they're in the Crystal Empire.

Well, considering that it is both in the beginning of the season and extremely likely to be in the end of the season, judging by that leaked photo, I'd say yes.

I'm thinking it'll be a combo of how the first two seasons handled it. Combine the season long gala subplot from S1 with the epicness of the S2 premier and finale.

The Crystal Empire overview shot has the production code 312 in the file name, pegging it at episode 12. Of course, it could be fake/incorrect, but its a reliable source.

Oh, I actually did know about those. So that means that we have reason to believe episode 12 involves the Crystal Empire. What evidence do we have that earlier episodes revolve around it as well?

@Blue: I'm just expecting it to show up in the first episodes because otherwise those preview songs must have been taken from the finale, which just seems weird to me.
